The role contributes to the successful execution of projects from early sales support through detailed engineering, commissioning, and optimization.The Process Engineer is responsible for developing process designs, preparing engineering documentation, supporting procurement and installation activities, and assisting in commissioning and startup.\nThe role ensures that process solutions meet customer requirements while complying with company standards for quality, safety, and environmental performance.\nThis position works closely with internal engineering teams, project managers, suppliers, and customers to deliver technically sound and efficient process solutions.\nResponsibilities / Tasks\nDefine production and process engineering solutions, from initial concept through detailed engineering and project execution.\nPrepare and/or review mass and energy balances, process calculations, and engineering analyses required to support process design.\nPerform the sizing, selection, and technical specification of process equipment and components, including pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, valves, instrumentation, piping, and related accessories.\nDevelop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and provide process engineering input to plant layouts and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.\nPrepare equipment and instrument data sheets, technical specifications, and other engineering documentation required for procurement.\nDevelop process and functional descriptions to define process control and automation requirements, including technical support during software Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).\nContribute to pre-engineering activities, cost estimation, technical evaluations, and project schedule planning to support effective project execution.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, Procurement & Logistics, Mechanical, Electrical & Automation Engineering, other Process Engineers, suppliers, and global Core Technology Centers (CTCs).\nSupport the procurement lifecycle, including technical bid evaluation and equalization, preparation of purchase requisitions in SAP, management of technical deviations from Purchase Orders, and coordination with Logistics regarding material delivery and expediting.\nLead order and technical clarification meetings, ensuring that engineering solutions comply with customer specifications, contractual requirements, and process design criteria.\nLead water and product trials, commissioning, start-up, performance verification, and operational support at customer sites.\nEnsure process solutions comply with internal engineering standards, hygienic design principles, and applicable industry and regulatory requirements, including EHEDG and 3-A requirements where applicable.\nPerform process risk assessments, including HAZOP studies, while ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.\nUpdate as-built process documentation at project completion, ensuring that final engineering documents reflect the installed solution.\nProvide technical training to customers and support the development of other engineers through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and training.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of internal engineering standards, tools, methods, and procedures.\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nDegree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, or Industrial/Production Engineering\nSpecific knowledge of liquid processing in general, brewing process, Beverage, Dairy, Pasteurization and Sterilization, Fermentation, CIP/SIP of equipment and lines, Liquid Dissolving and Mixing, Filtration, Dosing, among others.\nAbility to lead commissioning and start-up\nCommunication skills and good interpersonal relationships\nAbility to work in a team\nFluent English (spoken and written)\nGood knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project, and SAP\nAdvanced Excel skills\nKnowledge
