As a Process Engineer, you would be responsible for supporting customers by optimizing GEA centrifugal equipment after delivery, supporting sales development, spearheading R&D efforts for new product development, and much more.\nProcess Engineer Job Duties\nEvaluate and improve on processes for assigned GEA Markets, with the emphasis of GEA mechanical separation technology.\n\nStartup and commission GEA centrifuge equipment\n\nSupport Sales Initiatives in developing innovative solutions for customers.\n\nImprove process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.\n\nPrepare and process samples for spin down studies and facilitate Design of Experiments for further testing and product development.\n\nCollect, record, and transcribe data in detailed reports.\n\nMaintain testing equipment as required and needed for job responsibilities.\n\nDevelop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process (both upstream and downstream of GEA equipment)\n\nAbility to train customers on proper and safe use of GEA equipment.\n\nAbility to train other GEA team members on both equipment and processes.\n\nWork with Project Engineering to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions for future projects.\n\nWorks effectively in an interdisciplinary work environment.\n\nAbility to read/interpret P&IDs, General Arrangement (Mechanical Drawings), Electrical Schematics, and other engineering documentation.\n\nAbility to work in multiple GEA markets, with the emphasis on the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries.\n\nFamiliarity with process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking.\n\nHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures utilized in machine/system control systems.\n\nLearn/utilize Rockwell Programming software to make minor edits to programs, collaborate with Automation Engineers, and support startups.\n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nPosition reports to the Process Engineering Manager.\n\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or related or equivalent experience at hiring manager's discretion\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of industry experience (preferably in the renewable or environmental industries)\nMicrosoft Office Suite knowledge\nRockwell Programming Experience a Plus.\nAt GEA, we don’t just offer jobs-we offer opportunities to thrive, grow, and make an impact.\nThe typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $85 - $105,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.\nThe pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
