/ Tasks\nIn this role, you will have a strong focus on new projects and sourcing activities, supporting procurement processes from purchase requisition and order processing through to invoice management, master data and project-related interactions.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nProcurement & Operational Purchasing\nProcess purchase orders and follow the expediting process.\nClarify issues with suppliers.\nCommunicate with suppliers regarding demand, volumes, delivery times and reduction of transaction costs.\nExecute purchasing processes following guiding principles from Category Management.\nSupport Finance with invoice verification.\nFollow established processes, guidelines and procurement policies.\nEnsure cost, availability, innovation and quality within sourcing plan creation and execution.\nManage price lists.\nCoordinate, manage and control material shipments.\nManage suppliers to support the achievement of on-time delivery KPIs.\nAnalyse and proactively use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and other systems to determine raw material/item requirements for production and spare parts.\nSupport AI implementation across procurement processes.\nSourcing\nWork closely with R&D, Strategic Buyers, Operational Buyers and the Quality department.\nManage RFQs and awarding decisions in line with category strategy.\nExecute supplier selection in line with strategy and requirements, supporting supplier base development and the identification of new suppliers.\nMonitor and communicate the planning of procurement activities related to projects.\nCommit to meeting project cost targets.\nSupport Bill of Material costing.\nTake responsibility for project sourcing activities.\nTake responsibility for operative sourcing to support production and/or service.\nRun scouting processes in line with project targets and Strategic Buyer strategies.\nPurchase Requisition, Purchasing & Order Processing\nProcess purchase requisitions and purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations, including expediting when needed.\nClarify issues with requestors and suppliers.\nProvide feedback to Strategic Buyers/Category Managers when identifying requisitions going outside suitable framework agreements.\nAct as the first point of contact with vendors for daily operations.\nInvoice Processing & Master Data\nSupport the resolution of invoice mismatches that could not be processed by Finance/Accenture.\nMaintain local raw material or vendor master data where required.\nProject-related Interactions\nFor assigned projects, act as the first Procurement point of contact for stakeholders in Project Management, Engineering, Project Planning, Controlling and other project-relevant functions.\nEnsure that qualitative and quantitative inputs from the Project team are captured throughout the different stages of the project.\nRequest sourcing support for the relevant scope of supply from Strategic Buyers and/or Category Managers, both direct and indirect.\nBe involved early in project sales-phase discussions and recurrently throughout subsequent project phases.\nBased on project involvement, share progress information from a Procurement perspective through weekly project calls, monthly Steering Committee meetings, stage-gate reviews and other relevant forums.\nWhen needed, partner with Logistics representatives supporting the project, such as the Transport Manager, to track risks, costs and lead times related to transport, import/export and receipt of goods.\nKey knowledge areas\nThe role requires a combination of competencies across ERP systems, P2P processes, sourcing and project management.\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nExperience in operational procurement roles.\nStrong ability to work as part of a team, including in a demanding environment.\nGood knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.\nExperience working in complex organizations is welcome.\nCost and data analysis skills.\nExperience with AI tool implementation is welcome.\nExposure to manufacturing and/or service operations.\nFluency in English and Italian.\nFinancial and business understanding.\nStrong analytical skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a matrix organization.\nProblem-solving skills.\nOwnership and accountability for both successes and failures.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.\nGood knowledge of MS Office.\nKnowledge of shipping, customs clearance and logistics processes is welcome.\nAvailability for short business trips.\nWhat we offer\nThe position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.\nThe indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €40,000 and €50,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment.\nThe overall compensation package may also include variable components
