and schedule requirements.\nMaintain accurate engineering documentation, project records, design revisions, and customer communications throughout the project lifecycle.\nProcess Design & Engineering\nDesign, develop, review, and modify: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Utility Flow Diagrams Process layouts for nutrition, dairy, food, and beverage processing plants\nEngineer and specify process systems, including:Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) systems Product transfer and distribution systems Mixing and blending systems Liquid processing systems Hygienic piping networks Heat exchangers and thermal processing systems Process vessels and storage tanks Utility systems, including: Steam and condensate Hot and chilled water Compressed air Process water/WFI (where applicable)\nProcess Calculations & Equipment Sizing\nPerform process engineering calculations and equipment sizing, including: Flow rate calculations Pump selection Valve sizing Tank sizing Heat load calculations Utility consumption assessments Pressure drop calculations CIP/SIP capacity requirements\nTechnical Documentation\nPrepare and review technical documentation, including: Equipment specifications Technical datasheets Scope of Work (SOW) documents Equipment lists Instrument lists Bills of Materials (BOM)\nCompliance, Quality & Safety\nEnsure all process designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, including: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) HACCP EHEDG 3-A Sanitary Standards Applicable local regulatory requirements\nConduct: Hazard identification studies Process risk assessments HAZOP reviews (where applicable)\nEnsure safety requirements are incorporated into designs and implemented according to company and customer standards.\nCommissioning, Validation & Technical Support\nSupport and/or lead: Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) Commissioning activities Performance validation Process troubleshooting Operational optimization\nLead or support system startup activities and customer training programs to ensure proper operation and maintenance of installed systems.\nAssist Service Support and technical teams in diagnosing and resolving process, equipment, and system performance issues during commissioning and warranty periods.\nOther Duties\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nEducationBachelor's Degree in: Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering Food Engineering, Dairy Engineering Or a related engineering discipline\nExperience\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in: Process Engineering Plant Engineering Project Engineering Commissioning\nExperience gained within one or more of the following industries: Nutrition Dairy Food & Beverage Pharmaceutical Hygienic Processing\nTechnical Competencies\nStrong experience in process plant design and engineering, including: Development and interpretation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Development and interpretation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Process calculations Equipment specifications Utility system design\nHands-on experience in: CIP (Clean-in-Place) system design SIP (Sterilization-in-Place) system design Validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of CIP/SIP systems\nGood understanding of liquid and powder processing technologies, including: Mixing Batching Blending Heat treatment Evaporation Spray drying Product transfer systems\nExperience with hygienic process design and sanitary equipment selection, including: Pumps Valves Instrumentation Tanks Heat exchangers Piping systems\nStrong knowledge of process utility systems, including: Steam and condensate Hot water Chilled water Compressed air Purified and process water systems\nAbility to perform engineering calculations related to: Hydraulics Heat transfer Mass balance Utility consumption Equipment sizing\nSoftware & Systems\nProficient in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare and review: Engineering drawings P&IDs\nExperience with Plant 3D or similar
