Or do you possess current Scheduler skills but would like to expand your knowledge and take on a new challenge?\nWhether you are a recent graduate or tenured professional, we would like to hear about your interest in joining GEA!\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities:\nCreate and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules. \nMaintain production capacity schedule and forecast \nPrioritize work orders to ensure an optimization of resources \nConfer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates. \nAssist in solving production problems. \nInteract with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies. \nProvide additional information as requested from Manufacturing and Project Managers. \nCompiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner. \nWorks with supply chain for timely delivery of materials to the shop floor. \nDevelop and achieve department/company goal and controls. \nActively identify and drive areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity improvements (lean initiatives) \nPromptly informing the relevant departments of changes to the planned production schedule. \nEvaluate staffing needs to accommodate current and future production workflows. \nCreate and implement new tracking measures to improve workflows and efficiencies. \nParticipate and support Production excellence data gathering and input into global systems for reporting \nLeads daily status update meetings to the workshop team \nYour Profile / Qualifications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail. \nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. \nAbility to work cross functionally with other leaders in the department to meet customer needs \nAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. \nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. \nBasic understanding in Lean and continuous improvement tools and processes and ability to lead these types of processes/projects is a must \nSelf-Motivated and high ability to work independently with minimal supervision \nAbility to understand and contribute to strategic goals for the department \nOther duties as assigned. \nBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or other related field or High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 plus years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production planning \nMinimum 3 years' experience in Manufacturing/Production Planning or Minimum 3 years' experience in use of an ERP system \nExperience working in a job shop or engineer to order manufacturing setting is highly desired \nAt GEA, we don’t just offer jobs, we offer opportunities to thrive, grow, and make an impact.\nPlease note: This position is based in the United States and does not offer visa or work sponsorship.
