This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced engineer currently working with industrial refrigeration plant with an Ammonia qualification.\nThis is a field-based role within a growing team of Service Engineers, offering strong technical exposure and career progression opportunities.\nReport directly to the Service Manager.\n\nAdhere strictly to company policies and procedures.\n\nService and maintain heavy commercial refrigeration equipment and Ammonia plant, including package chillers\n\nMaintain a strong customer-focused approach throughout all processes, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.\n\nPrimarily maintenance-based, while responding to reactive service calls when required.\n\nSupport the Service Manager in resolving technical issues and reducing repetitive service calls in a timely manner.\n\nPromote system improvements and modifications to customers to enhance operational performance.\n\nProvide technical support to apprentices and customers.\n\nEnsure full compliance with Health, Safety & Quality regulations and policies.\n\nAttend site visits to troubleshoot, rectify faults, and educate customers where necessary.\n\nConduct site audits.\n\nNo supermarket work\n\nKey Accountabilities\nEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction.\n\nRepresent GEA Group professionally while on site.\n\nSupport capacity planning and work scheduling processes.\n\nMaintain company technical and safety standards in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.\n\nRecommend improvements where necessary and report accidents and near misses.\n\nProvide technical support and coaching to team apprentices.\n\nRemain up to date with safety standards and safety equipment requirements.\n\nChampion and promote a strong safety culture in the workplace\n\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nMinimum 5 years’ experience working with Ammonia.\n\nStrong planning and organisational skills.\n\nAbility to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.\n\nHonest and trustworthy.\n\nIPAF certified.\n\nCity & Guilds 2079 -
