Solutions Sales Manager (m/w/d)

The successful candidate will manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and developing customer solutions through contract negotiation, project handover, and ongoing relationship management.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Drive sales growth and achieve annual revenue, order intake, and profitability targets
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within assigned markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
• Promote GEA's process solutions and technologies to existing and potential customers
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline and sales forecasts.
• Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams
• Lead commercial negotiations and close profitable business opportunities
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Ensure accurate CRM management, reporting, and sales administration
• Represent GEA at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
• Work closely with engineering, project management, service, and finance teams to ensure successful project execution
• Ensure compliance with company policies, business processes, and regulatory requirements

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree or additional commercial qualifications are an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, engineering, or project management within the Dairy, Food, Beverage, or Chemical industry
• Proven experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably within industrial, engineering, or process technology environments
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing complex technical sales projects
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluent Hungarian and advanced English
• Willingness to travel and meet customers regularly
