Job Description Summary

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will lead Production Control activities within the CRO, ensuring effective production planning, schedule execution, priority management, and the alignment of material and capacity with business objectives.

In this role, you will drive operational performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), while partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams to ensure reliable execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Production Control team in daily planning, scheduling, and execution management activities, ensuring clear priorities and operational discipline
  • Ensure production plans are executed in line with customer demand, available capacity, operational constraints, and material availability
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive performance on key operational metrics, including on-time delivery, backlog, past due orders, work in process, plan adherence, shortages, and aging
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, and Engineering to remove constraints, escalate critical issues, and support effective recovery plans
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters, system data integrity, and execution visibility within ERP/MRP systems
  • Promote daily management rigor and continuous improvement by applying Lean / FLIGHT DECK principles, including standard work, problem solving, and performance follow-up
  • Foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant experience in production control, production planning, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing support
  • Previous experience leading teams, or proven ability to coordinate and drive cross-functional activities
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, material management, and execution control processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required

  • Knowledge of Lean, FLIGHT DECK, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and lead effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proven capability to strengthen team effectiveness and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico - level B3

Salary range for this role: 42.525,00 euro - 68.287,50 euro + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro

Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
