Roles and Responsibilities

• Support projects with global key stakeholders from manufacturing, assembly, and test operations to develop solutions that support and enable engine delivery.
• Evaluate and help resolve non-conformances and producibility issues using sound engineering judgment.
• Support improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through process and product improvements.
• Work with design, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers to address technical and production issues.
• Help identify and implement actions to reduce manufacturing losses, improve part flow, and increase producibility.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support for existing products and help execute short-term improvement plans.
• Use engineering tools, data, and standard processes to analyze problems and recommend practical solutions.
• Help build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support reliable delivery performance.
• Manage assigned tasks and small to medium projects with guidance, meeting technical, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Clearly communicate technical information, status, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Continuously build knowledge of manufacturing processes, hardware configuration requirements, and product design intent.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Some engineering experience in manufacturing, production, design, quality, or industrial operations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to solve technical problems using structured thinking and sound engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic project management and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with engineering analysis tools such as FEA/ANSYS is a plus.

Desired Characteristics

• Understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance interpretation.
• Exposure to non-conformance review, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Experience working with suppliers or external manufacturing partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Knowledge of turbine hardware, engine components, or aerospace manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods or lean manufacturing tools is a plus.
