The role of SAP Production Engineer will have responsibility for maintaining accuracy of all work instructions and technical data related to engine maintenance for the site ERP system.Job Description\nEssential Responsibilities:\nEnsure accuracy and completeness of all CFM LEAP technical configuration data in the ERP system\nBe Responsible for creation and maintenance of all disassembly, assembly, inspection and repair work instructions for the MRO processes\nReview all engine shop manual incremental changes for impact on shop instructions\nReview service bulletins and ensure all data is loaded accurately in the ERP system\nEnsure all system data complies with customer and regulatory compliance requirements\nPrimary point of contact for Engineering and Production ERP system technical data errors and correction\nGenerate and maintain functional process maps for both Engineering and Production processes\nGenerate ideas for and assist in the execution of simplification and cost out initiatives\nAssist Quality team with corrective actions and quality report close-outs as required\nIdentify best practices and implement process improvements for cycle time and cost reduction\nAbility to learn new concepts in a rapidly changing environment\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or engineering experience) \nMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing or engineering experience \nDesired Characteristics & Experience:\nPrior experience of technical publication data related to Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul\nPrevious experience using SAP\nPrevious experience using the GE Aviation OASIS ERP system\nKnowledge of basic engineering industry processes and procedures\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nAbility to influence others and lead small teams\nLead initiatives of moderate scope and impact\nAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneously\nEffective problem identification and solution skills\nProven analytical and organizational ability\nGE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
