Any hire would be expected to be available to travel to Cincinnati multiple times in the first 6 months of hire for training and onboarding.\nExpected travel 25-50% for this position.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities \nTechnical process and product ownership for castings commodity \nActive role in the development and industrialization of new casting technologies\nWork cross functionally with Quality and Design engineers to ensure that new processes achieve established metrics \nPlan and implement process-engineering activities for new product and technology development\nMentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements and new technologies \nPartner with sourcing team members for Casting supplier development and cost out projects \nDesign and implement manufacturing processes\nPursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated area \nAct as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance \nCommunicate progress & challenges to leadership teams \nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Quality/ manufacturing/casting experience)\nMinimum of 5 years casting experience\nThis position requires U.S. citizenship status\nAbility to travel 25-50% \nDesired Characteristics\nSX and Equiax investment casting expertise\nAdditive manufacturing experience\nNew Product Introduction experience\nSiemens NX proficiency (or comparable CAD system) \nTRL / MRL maturation experience\nAPQP / PPAP experience \nEstablished project management skills \nRespectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn \nTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively \nProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker. \nFocused: quick learner, accountable, self-guided\n“This role will require in-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1”\nThe base pay range for this position is $116,000.00 - 160,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
