In the role of Customer Support Representative, you will serve as an interface between the site and the assigned customers globally.\nJob Description\nEssential Responsibilities:\nAs the Customer Support Representative, you will:\nServe as interface with assigned customers on issues involving customer orders and associated activities to ensure effective communications / feedback. \nRelationship development to build trust with customer base to provide a consultative approach to customer engagement. \nProvide effective customer service and understand customer needs. \nWork in conjunction with Customer Program Managers/Sales Directors to service and manage order processing/entry and resolution of any issues, including customer portal alignment and maintenance as required. \nInteract with internal organizations to effectively resolve customer issues on a proactive basis. \nPrepare, review, and submit quotes to customers as required. \nSupport Lean process improvement initiatives including standard work development/ maintenance and participate in associated projects. \nProvide timely resolution on: Customer order processing \nCustomer inquiries \nCustomer order tracking / reporting \nRFQ (Request for Quote) submittals and status \nShort flows (expedites) \nAOG / Spares \nA/R Disputes \n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.\nDesired Characteristics & Experience:\nMinimum 4 years’ experience as a consultative customer support professional.\nBusiness degree from an accredited university or college \nExperience in Customer Purchase Order Review/Entry and Fulfillment. \nStrong customer facing support background and experience in the day to day management of a defined customer account base. \nExperience in the review and interpretation of Customer Purchase Orders, RFQ’s and other requirements flowed through customer contract documents. \nStrong PC skills; (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data manipulation and e-commerce experience a plus \nEffective communication skills, both verbally and written \nStrong team player with experience integrating across various organizations \nEffective planning / organization and project management skills \nStrong background in Contract review, administration and flow down \nStrong understanding of MRP / ERP concepts \nSelf-motivated individual with proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high stress situation \nExperience working Lean process improvements. \nDetail oriented, organized, self-motivated, assertive, and able to work in a team environment \nGE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
