This is not your typical software engineering role. We are on the ground, shoulder to shoulder with our clients - whether it's working on predictive maintenance on US Navy ships, aiding the Air Force or sitting in on a boiler inspection - we are the first line of defense in solving these hard hitting problems. We are a group who loves to grow - even if it requires hard work to do so.\n\nAbout You\nBachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience.\n\nFamiliarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.\n\nUnderstanding of how technical decisions impact the user of what you’re building.\n\nProficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.\n\nAbility to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.\n\nSkill and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users.\n\nDemonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.\n\nWillingness and interest to travel as needed up to 50%.\n\nWho We Are\nAt Gecko, our people are our greatest investment.
