Our strength comes from our different backgrounds and perspectives.\nThe Job\nAs Deployment Engineer at GeekPlus, you’ll be the primary point of contact with our project managers, supply chain specialists, service program managers, suppliers, and customers. You’ll team with internal functions to understand all the details of the system configuration and site dynamics. You’ll work with internal and external resources to coordinate all aspects of a Robotic Systems deployment and maintenance at a customer site. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hardware components, systems, and troubleshooting techniques related to autonomous mobile robots. As the Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in] ensuring the successful deployment, maintenance, and optimization of our AMR fleet across diverse operational environments.\nResponsibilities:\nLead, manage, and mentor a team of contractors, providing guidance, support, and clear expectations to ensure tasks are completed with right lead time and quality. Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and quality of work, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.\nConduct onsite implementation project planning including scope of work, budget, schedule, and subcontracting services and merge with the master project plan.\nManage implementation plan by closely communicating with internal and external stakeholders, especially with supply chain on delivery schedules.\nConduct thorough hardware inspections, quality control checks, and pre-deployment testing to identify and resolve any potential issues.\nPrepare hardware environment for SIT, UAT and Performance Testing and participate in testing.\nDiagnose and resolve hardware-related problems, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal robot performance.\nDocument all hardware-related issues, solutions, and best practices in a clear and organized manner.\nStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in autonomous robotics hardware and contribute insights to enhance the company's competitive edge.
