With guidance from senior team members, you’ll learn how to build strong working relationships with clients, develop an understanding of their needs, and help diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve the issues they run into, getting to the root cause rather than the symptom. Early in the internship, you’ll focus on shadowing client calls, supporting implementation tasks, and learning our systems. As you gain experience, you’ll take on increasing ownership, including leading defined workstreams and engaging directly with clients with guidance. If you’re excited about robots and rolling out complex systems, we’d like to hear from you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nImplementation and deployment\nSupport the design and configuration of the software that manages our robot fleets and fulfillment solutions.\nAssist with deploying client system solutions on Linux servers and managing databases using SQL.\nHelp close out implementations against the project closing checklist.\nIntegration and testing\nParticipate in API and functional testing sessions with clients to integrate Geek+ systems with client systems, first shadowing, then running sessions with guidance.\nParticipate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and with guidance take the lead on defined test workstreams, using these cycles to learn the system from the implementation team.\nPost-launch support\nSupport remote and onsite hypercare after go-live, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting and firmware upgrades, working alongside experienced engineers.\nHelp respond to customer inquiries and track issues through to resolution within agreed timelines and SLAs.\nHelp develop training materials and SOPs for system operation, fault recovery, and exception handling.\nCommunication and collaboration\nCommunicate with clients by phone, email, and chat with guidance, providing clear written instructions and technical documentation.\nSupport cross-functional collaboration, including coordination with overseas teams as needed.\nPresent findings, documentation, or project updates to the team, and take ownership of one or two smaller projects or workstreams as experience develops.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\nProfessional working proficiency in both Mandarin and English, spoken and written.\nHands-on experience with SQL and Linux (coursework or project experience is welcome).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.\nWillingness and ability to travel domestically within the Americas to support client projects (up to 75%, as scheduled with the team).\nStrong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.\nNice to Have\nPrior internship, project, or coursework experience in software, hardware, or network product support.\nExposure to or working knowledge of Redis, Nginx, Postman, RESTful APIs, JDK, and cloud platforms.\nExperience with or exposure to WMS, WES, MES, or WCS systems.\nWhat You’ll Gain\nThis internship is intended to provide considerably more than supporting engineering tasks.
