resiliency and availability of different products. \n\nBe a productive member of the team.\n\nRequirements\n\nQA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Data Conversion, Data Migration, and Reporting Validation.\n\nPerform functional, data validation, data conversion, migration, integration, and regression testing. \n\nAnalyze source and target data structures and understand data mapping and transformation rules. \n\nCreate detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and validation checklists. \n\nValidate data migration and conversion from source systems to target systems. \n\nPerform source-to-target data validation, completeness and accuracy checks, transformation validation, reconciliation, duplicate and missing-data validation, data type and format validation, and record count validation. \n\nExecute ETL and data migration testing and validate transformation logic. \n\nWrite and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation. \n\nValidate reports, dashboards, and BI outputs against source and transactional data. \n\nTest report calculations, filters, sorting, aggregations, totals, and business rules. \n\nValidate scheduled reports and data refresh processes. \n\nIdentify discrepancies between source data, converted data, and reports. \n\nLog and track defects using JIRA or similar tools. \n\nPerform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes. \n\nParticipate in defect triage with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and reporting teams. \n\nPrepare data validation, reconciliation, and test execution reports. \n\nSupport UAT, production migration, and post-migration validation activities. \n\nHands-on experience in Data Conversion/Data Migration Testing. \n\nStrong knowledge of SQL and database testing. \n\nExperience in source-to-target data validation and reconciliation. \n\nGood understanding of ETL concepts and data transformation. \n\nExperience testing reports, dashboards, and data extracts. \n\nStrong understanding of data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, quality, and integrity. \n\nExperience with JIRA or similar defect-management tools. \n\nGood understanding of STLC, SDLC, test case design, and defect lifecycle. \n\nExperience with one or more reporting/BI tools is preferred: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SAP BusinessObjects, SSRS, Qlik, Other enterprise reporting platforms \n\nThe candidate should be able to validate: Report data accuracy, Calculated fields and measures, Aggregations and totals, Filters and parameters, Drill-down/drill-through functionality, Data refresh, Report-to-database reconciliation, Export functionality such as Excel/CSV/PDF \n\nExperience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar. \n\nKnowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases. \n\nExposure to API testing and JSON/XML validation. \n\nExperience with large-volume data validation. \n\nExposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake. \n\nExperience in Retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain, Finance, or ERP applications. \n\nExposure to automation using Python, Java, Selenium, or similar tools. \n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. \n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. \n\nPreferred
