Create and manage part records in MP2, facilitate the repairable spare parts process, facilitate the obsolescence project, assist with the receiving process, assist with VMI programs, generate stock requisitions, initiate RFQs, and participate in regular storeroom cycle counts.\nWhat You'll Do:\nResponsible for facilitating the requisition process, including clarifying needs with internal requestors, and sending RFQs to vendors and contractors. \nFacilitating the repairable spare parts process by monitoring the repair parts area, determining warrantability of parts with maintenance, and acquiring RMAs. \nGenerate stock requisitions twice a week to replenish checked out parts. \nCreate and manage part records in MP2 for stock parts. \nProcess add to stock forms once approvals are acquired. \nIdentify and return parts to stock that were not needed for use by maintenance or operations personnel. \nCapture part manufacturer data in MP2 to assist Procurement with sourcing alternate suppliers. \nPositively assist internal customers with locating storeroom parts, either physically or via identification in MP2. \nAssist in keeping the storeroom clean, safe, and organized. \nParticipate in routine cycle counting and inventory management of the MRO storeroom. \nParticipate in the coordination of part obsolescence review activities. \nAssist all departments with access to Fastenal vending machines. \nSupport uniform program by assisting eligible employees with making appointments. \nManage and maintain key inventory. \nManage and maintain radio inventory. \nAssist with receiving responsibilities, especially when PTO coverage is needed. \nSupport all MRO team members. \nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nWhat You'll Need:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. \nAt least 2 years’ experience in inventory management and utilization of CMMS systems. \nProficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel) \nKnowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) \nDemonstrated sense of urgency and sound judgement to perform in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and the ability to learn. \nAbility to multi-task and manage multiple priorities. \nExcellent communication skills and teamwork with technicians, buyers, operators, & engineers. \nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity. \nAbility and means to travel if needed;
