You will help in the delivery of high-quality products, unlocking new engineering capabilities..\nPosition Responsibilities\nAs a Senior Staff Engineer, you will:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, availability, and performance of containerized applications.\n\nContribute to the development of best practices and standards in container runtime technology.\n\nPlay a hands-on role in the deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration platforms.\n\nCollaborate effectively with other technical professionals and teams to ensure seamless integration of container runtimes with the overall technology stack.\n\nImplement and enforce security measures for container runtimes to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.\n\nCollaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of container runtime solutions.\n\nQualifications\nDeep Linux technical knowledge\n\nExperience with the Linux kernel\n\nFluent in one or more of the following languages: Rust, Golang, and/or C\n\nKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and related container orchestration platforms\n\nExperience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, etc.)\n\nUnderstanding of how container and OS images are built.\n\nKnowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, test automation and related tools, operations, real-time communication)\n\nExperience in CI/CD pipeline and related open-source tools like Git/Jenkin/CircleCI/SonarQube\n\nDemonstrated ability to design and implement resilient, scalable, and efficient solutions\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities\n\nExcellent communication skills, able to communicate complete technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nExperience\n10+ years of professional PaaS and IaaS experience\n\n10+ years of experience working with Linux\n\n8+ years of experience with architecture and design\n\n6+ years of experience with open source projects is desired\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience\n\nAnnual Salary\n$120,000.00 - $260,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
