The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of testing and experience with developing and maintain re-usable testing constructs. They will have a good understanding of usability and be able to design interfaces with end-users in mind.\nThe ideal candidate has technical expertise with integration, end to end, and UI testing. Understanding the internals of popular test frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, TestNG are a plus, and experience with rolling out tooling to thousands of engineers at scale is a strong differentiator.\nBreadth of experience will be more important than depth in specific areas, if you enjoy working on different types of projects and codebases, then this may be a good fit for you. This position requires the candidate to understand customer needs, iteratively refine the understanding, and implement solutions.\nPosition Responsibilities\nPartner with business and engineering to understand testing complexity and map the testing needs to existing capabilities.\nHave a deep technical understanding of test frameworks and when appropriate, develop extensions, plugins, fixtures, and other similar layers to improve the Test Framework capabilities.\nPrototype new test vectors, approaches, tools, or methods.\nExperience developing with LLM Agents and mentoring engineers on best practices.\nBuilding tools that have general utility.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our continuous delivery processes remain cutting-edge.\nQualifications\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n8+ years of experience in application development, software testing, performance/load testing.\nDeep familiarity with test framework internals or advanced topics in Pytest, Playwright, TestNG.\nProficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Node, Java, Python.\nStrong proficiency with Agent driven development.\n(Optional) Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree or master's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.\nAnnual Salary\n$105,000.00 - $260,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
