The ideal candidate will also bring direct, hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies such as RAG, MCP, Agent Skills, and the end-to-end delivery of Generative AI applications. We require experience in leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms to improve productivity. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our software platforms, driving innovation, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and modular microservices using Java (version 21+) and Spring Boot (3.4.x).\nCollaborate with Enterprise Architects and Product Managers to define technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints.\nBuild and integrate AI-powered features, focusing on Generative AI solutions.\nPartner with ML and Data Science teams to utilize AI models and support cutting-edge use cases.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship for engineering teams; establish best practices for code quality, security, testing, and DevOps.\nReview code, coach engineers, and foster an inclusive, learning-rich environment.\nChampion innovation, stay abreast of technology trends, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, observability, and automation.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n10+ years of professional experience building maintainable, scalable, and high-performance systems in Java.\nExpert in modern Java (preferably Java 21) and hands-on with the latest features and best practices.\nDeep knowledge of Spring Boot (preferably 3.4.x+), Spring Cloud, and related frameworks.\nExtensive experience in designing and deploying distributed systems and microservice-based architectures.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience with Generative AI applications and familiarity with AI concepts such as RAG and MCP.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar) to improve software engineering productivity is required.\nStrong understanding of RESTful API design, secure API development, and service-to-service communication patterns.\nProficient with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nSolid grounding in CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, and observability.\nExcellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience mentoring engineers.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Temporal (workflow orchestration) and Spring AI (artificial intelligence extensions for Spring).\nOpen-source or community contributions in AI/Java/microservices/cloud tools.\nAnnual Salary\n$115,000.00 - $230,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
