Identifies opportunities to modify current state workflows to increase efficiency or effectiveness.\nProduces documentation including current and future state workflows, pros/cons, gap analysis, needs assessments, design specifications, build documentation, test plans, project plans, status reports and transitionary documentation.\nPerforms application testing including unit and scenario-based testing.\nLearns to apply critical thinking to problem solving and strives to understand the root cause of the issue.\nCommunicates effectively with peers, informaticians, stakeholders, project teams, and leadership. Provides regular updates regarding work status via standard documentation tools and/or huddles, meetings, etc. Learns and begins to apply appropriate issue escalation. \nCompletes system build and documentation in accordance with department guidelines and in adherence to change management policy.\nActively participates in meetings by being an engaged listener and offering both feedback and input.\nPrepares training material and conducts training classes in either virtual or in-person settings.\nAdheres to best practices regarding information security.\nParticipates in team on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 support to assigned areas.\nProvides remote and/or on-site support as needed to end-users.\nSupports system upgrades, patches, and monitoring.\nAssists in the preparation of department guidelines, standards, procedures, and policies.\nParticipates in vendor review and selection processes.\nParticipates in testing the integration and technical requirements of peripherals and devices that interface with or integrate with assigned applications.
