Cares for patients of all ages under technologist supervision.Job Duties:\nOperates imaging equipment pertaining to specific modality of hire.\n\nProduces quality imaging studies under the guidance, direction, and oversight of a registered technologist under direct supervision until competency is achieved, for all surgical/mobile examinations, and repeat images to assure patient safety.\n\nWorks under indirect supervision of a qualified technologist after achieving exam competency.\nPerforms post-processing of imaging studies as applicable.\n\nPrepares patients for exams including MRI Safety Screening (where applicable).\n\nMaintains imaging equipment.\n\nApplies principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.\n\nApplies principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care.\n\nEffectively uses Radiology Information System.\n\nEfficiently completes, reviews, and prepares paperwork and corroborates a patient’s clinical history with the procedure and ensuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.\n\nMaintains confidentiality and an ethical relationship with all patients and medical records.\n\nSupports transporting of patients.\n\nWork is typically performed in a clinical environment.
