Responsible for business and market development and all regulatory activities.Job Duties:\nProvides operational accountability and administrative leadership for assigned areas.\nServes as department liaison with outside constituents and as an active participant in assigned management forums.\nCollaborates in developing, revising, and auditing all department policies and operational procedures.\nDevelops business plans (i.e. budgets, facilities and capital analyses, market analyses, growth plans, operational contingency plans, information systems).\nOversees the development and implementation of all strategic and tactical operational plans.\nResponsible for the financial performance of all assigned areas.\nDevelops, implements, and achieves budgets and provides input into business plans, financial pro-formas, and operational contingency plans.\nImplements activities and tools that consistently educate and focus staff on key performance indicators.\nFacilitates active engagement and communication with department staff via formal meetings and informal interactions.\nHandles all employee relations activities (i.e. coaching, counseling).\nAssists with related activities for physician staff.\nAssesses staff and facilitates skill development for all personnel as needed.\nLeads and monitors annual staff patient safety education.\nDirects and monitors ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with performance improvement staff.\nMonitors all incidents, and ensures all events are reported immediately.\nDirects department activities to meet patient access and efficiency goals.\nGuides outpatient care management activities.\nParticipates on teams designed to improve care.\nDirects preventative maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and grounds, monitors and maintains interior and exterior cleanliness and aesthetics of facilities, and implements appropriate security measures.\nCoordinates purchasing activity, including but not limited to monitoring inventory and supervising the ordering of items as needed.\nWork is typically performed in an office environment.
