Also offering up to $40,000 in financial support to become a nurse!Job Duties:\nResponsible for the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and sterility to prevent infection within a healthcare facility, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols established by regulatory agencies.\nCollecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.\nManually cleaning supplies of contaminants, removing waste matter, and operating and maintaining decontamination equipment.\nPreparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilization.\nMonitoring and operating sterilization equipment.\nActs as a preceptor new employees.\nExamining supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.\nTesting and reporting any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment.\nSterilizing, preparing, wrapping, and organizing equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures.\nPreparing and delivering all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures, and medical carts.\nMaintaining records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies.\nControlling the inventory, reordering supplies, and checking expiration dates.\nWork is typically performed in a clinical environment.
