S.A., a company of the GEK TERNA Group, is seeking a:\nLaboratory Manager (Geologist)\nResponsibilities\nEnsures that materials, processes and workmanship comply with project specifications, approved designs, applicable standards and contractual requirements.\nPrepares, reviews and manages quality documentation, including Material Approval Requests (MARs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for metal structures, concrete works and geomechanics, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).\nCoordinates site inspections and quality checks in collaboration with the laboratory, PMO and construction teams, ensuring timely approvals of works and materials.\nVerifies that site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and ITPs.\nManages quality-related submissions, approvals, revisions and records through Aconex, ensuring accurate document control and traceability.\nEnsures strict compliance with project specifications, designs, codes, standards, and approved materials and methodologies. \nMonitors Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), follows up on corrective actions and supports the implementation of quality assurance procedures on site.\nCoordinates laboratory and in-situ testing activities, ensuring that testing frequency, scope and reporting comply with project specifications, standards and ITPs.\nTracks test results, certificates, inspection reports, approvals and survey reports through Aconex, maintaining complete and up-to-date project quality records.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Geology or Civil Engineering\nMinimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within construction or engineering projects\nFamiliarity with Aconex or similar document management systems\nProficient in interpreting technical specifications and drawings \nExcellent knowledge of the English language (oral & written)\nStrong knowledge of inspection procedures, ITPs, and material submittals\nCompetencies\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nProblem-solving mindset and ability to coordinate effectively with multiple
