This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.\nResponsibilities\nExperience in HVAC Design and 3D Modeling.\n\nKnowledge of related engineering systems, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.\n\nPlan, self-perform tasks, and multi-task on multiple projects.\n\nPresent information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word and utilize automated workflow systems.\n\nCoordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel prior to release for approval and implementation.\n\nDevelop and maintain historical information.\n\nPrepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents.\n\nRequirements\nEducation & Years of Experience - Associate Degree in related discipline (HVAC or Fire Protection) with two or more years of progressive and relevant experience in HVAC and/or Fire Sprinkler System Design.\n\nCitizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.\n\nClearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.\n\n5+ years of progressive and relevant experience in HVAC Design and 3D Modeling.\n\nExperience in Revit and Smart Plant is a plus.\n\nExperience working with point clouds and 3D modeling software for multi-discipline projects.\n\nFamiliarity with Trane Trace (or similar programs).\n\nTechnical knowledge of related engineering systems, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.\n\nAbility to plan, self-perform tasks, and multi-task on multiple projects.\n\nMust be able to coordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel prior to release for approval and implementation.\n\nAbility to develop and maintain historical information.\n\nAbility to prepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents.\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience in Revit and Smart Plant is a plus.\n\nExperience working with point clouds and 3D modeling software for multi-discipline projects.\n\nFamiliarity with Trane Trace (or similar programs).\n\nDOE Work experience.\n\nAbout the Site\nThe NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium.
