This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.\nResponsibilities\nProvide operational support for project activities and deliverables.\n\nAssist with procurement activities and coordinate with appropriate supporting organizations.\n\nSupport resource scheduling and coordination among project personnel.\n\nMaintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with Laboratory requirements.\n\nAssist with budget and cost tracking activities.\n\nCoordinate information and follow-up between project personnel, management, and supporting organizations.\n\nAssist with procedure revisions and updates.\n\nSupport process improvement initiatives and implementation of established processes.\n\nTrack issues, action items, and corrective actions through resolution.\n\nHelp ensure required documentation and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\n\nMaintain a strong focus on safety, security, quality, and accountability.\n\nPerform other operational support duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\nEducation & Years of Experience - Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nCitizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.\n\nClearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.\n\nEntry-level knowledge of operational support processes and procedures.\n\nAbility to follow established processes and work under the direction of a supervisor, team lead, or manager.\n\nAbility to organize and track multiple activities, records, and deliverables.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to coordinate with personnel across multiple teams and supporting organizations.\n\nAbility to identify and assist with resolving moderately complex operational issues.\n\nBasic ability to work with schedules, budgets, costs, records, and project documentation.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety, security, quality, and accountability.\n\nAbout the Site\nThe NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
