This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.\nResponsibilities\nAssists Laboratory occupational physicians in areas including, but not necessarily limited to carrying out treatments, determining and arranging proper patient dispositions, identifying and correcting workplace medical issues, and counseling and educating employees on health-related issues.\n\nUnderstands specialized area plus working knowledge of other related fields.\n\nResolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.\n\nProvides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.\n\nContributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.\n\nDetermines approach to solutions, plans schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.\n\nRequirements\nEducation & Years of Experience -Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.\n\nCitizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.\n\nClearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.\n\nWorking knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in occupational medicine with 2 to 5 years of recent clinical experience in occupational medicine; or Working knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in a clinically related field (family medicine, emergency/urgent care medicine, internal medicine, or sports medicine) with 2 to 5 years of recent clinical experience in that field.\n\nBoard certified PA-C through the NCCPA.\n\nLicensed to practice medicine by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners.\n\nCurrent New Mexico pharmacy and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.\n\nRequires limited responsibility for making routine contacts on general matters outside of the immediate organization.\n\nAbout the Site\nThe NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
