As a publicly traded company, Gemini is poised to accelerate this vision with greater scale, reach, and impact.\nThe Department: Predictions\nThe Role: Product Design Intern\nGemini is looking for a Product Design Intern to work on our multi-functional product team that is interested in design, marketing and user experience. You will be assigned high-impact projects that help build a more equitable future for all and gain meaningful experience working on all areas of the design process including analysis and reaction to user needs, architecture of layouts, flows and interactions, and design. The Product Design Intern will work cross-functionally with a variety of teams to support great user experiences for Gemini products. Our goal is to provide a valuable experience that makes a direct impact on our business and jump starts your engineering career.\nThis will be a semester long internship program with 3 days a week in personat our New York City, NY office from January to April 2027.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and user interface components for web and mobile platforms.\nConduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs.\nCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring ideas to life.\nLearn and apply our design system to maintain consistency across all products.\nSupport the team in preparing design documentation and presentations.\nStay up to date with design trends and best practices in fintech and cryptocurrency.\nQualifications:\nPursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s or master's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Engineering.\nDemonstrates proficient understanding of typography, hierarchy, motion and interactive.\nMust have passion for creating visual user interfaces for web and mobile applications.\nExcellent time management with strong organizational, communication and conceptual thinking skills.\nAn ability to explore multiple solutions for problems.\nTeam player and self-starter with a hunger for collaboration across all disciplines of design, product and engineering.\nPotential experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe CS (i.e. Photoshop and Illustrator), and the Google suite of apps.\nFamiliar with basics around HTML/CSS and JavaScript.\nPay Rate: The hourly pay rate for this role is $38/hour in the State of New York. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.\nIn the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Expectations may vary by location and role, so candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter to learn more about the specific policy for the role. Employees who do not live near one of our hubs are part of our remote workforce.
