You’ll work with people who back each other, respect each other and understand that our differences are a competitive advantage.\nIf this sounds like you, we’d love you to be part of Gen.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and optimize full-stack applications (backend and frontend) for high-traffic payment platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.\nBuild high-performance, secure integrations with global Payment Service Providers (PSPs) using modern protocols and API standards.\nDevelop responsive, intuitive frontend experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks while building robust backend services that power them.\nCreate lightweight, well-documented APIs for seamless client, SDK, and cross-team communication.\nEnsure high quality of service (QoS) and maintain strong security standards across the entire stack.\nTackle complex end-to-end problems with innovative solutions and foster a culture of openness, learning, and continuous improvement.\nMission and Goals\nLead the technical design and hands-on full-stack development of high-traffic payment applications - from database to UI.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and Architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nOwn and drive complex technical designs of systems architecture and components built using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot on the backend and React, Vue.js, or Angular on the frontend.\nCollaborate across engineering and product teams to build secure, performant systems that meet strict SLAs.\nContribute to the entire application lifecycle - development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.\nChampion systems architecture improvements and drive continuous modernization of existing services.\nIntegrate with global PSPs, ensuring seamless payment flows across regions and providers.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired (10+ Years of Experience)\nStrong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot for backend development.\nProficiency in at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue.js, or Angular, with solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.\nExperience designing and building APIs across multiple architectural styles - REST, Webhooks, SOAP, GraphQL.\nProficiency with SQL (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) databases.\nExperience with cloud platforms - Azure, AWS, or both - including deployment, scaling, and managed services.\nStrong ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.\nSolid Object-Oriented Design skills and understanding of design patterns.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development methodology.\nExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environment across distributed teams and time zones.\nSecurity Competencies\nGood understanding of API Security Best Practices for building secure applications across frontend and backend.\nWorking experience applying strong cryptographic algorithms and secure hashing techniques.\nHands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools to identify, review, and remediate security vulnerabilities.\nGood understanding of data security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and their application in payment systems.\nAdded Benefits (Nice to Have)\nAI Proficiency & Tools: Familiarity with AI-powered development and automation tools such as N8N, LangChain, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
