Software Engineer

We are a small, highly technical team responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining critical production backend services-our largest services handle nearly 300,000 requests per second. We use Rust and Python, deploying to Kubernetes clusters in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services in Rust and Python

• Operate and monitor production systems at large scale

• Troubleshoot incidents, optimize performance, and ensure high availability

• Participate in on-call rotation to keep our services reliable 24/7

• Use state-of-the-art AI tools to enhance development, monitoring, and operational efficiency

• Collaborate with other engineers to continuously improve code, infrastructure, and processes

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in backend development (Rust and/or Python preferred)

• Experience running and maintaining production systems

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments (ideally GCP)

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties

• Interest in adopting and experimenting with the latest AI tooling

• Attention to reliability, scalability, and operational excellence
