This is a 6-month mandatory end-of-studies internship opportunity, providing direct support to the team.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPerform daily cash reconciliations, ensuring transactions are settled in a timely manner\nBook daily transactions in the internal accounting system within agreed portfolio timescales\nMonitor and manage outstanding / overdue payments\nEnsure all supporting documentation is received and filed as per internal procedures\nPrepare, book and send capital calls and distributions to investors (including the preparation of legal documentation)\nCollect, process and control capital calls and distributions received from target investments\nCollect, analyze and reconcile target capital account information\nPrepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements\nLiaise with external providers to provide documents supporting the preparation of tax returns (CIT, MBT, NTW and VAT)\nProvide any information requested by internal teams or clients promptly and smoothly\nOther day-to-day administrative tasks as required\nThe ideal background for this role:\nYou are fluent in English\nYou are preparing your Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, finance or a similar recognized accountancy qualification\nYou have some knowledge of Luxembourg corporate laws and structures, any specific PERE sector knowledge (e.g. SOPARFI, SICAR, SIF, RAIF, SLP) is considered an asset\nUnique role requirements \nYou are in your final year before graduation and this is your mandatory end-of-studies internship\nYou are available for a 6-month internship\nRole Location/Hybrid Schedule\nThis role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working.
