The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:\nDevelop & implement sound, technically rigorous, transparent, comprehensive & appropriate documented procedures & processes for model building and reviewing such as DCF models, comparable company models, market multiple, option pricing analyses, loan valuation, real estate valuation, etc.\nFor each portfolio valuation, (i) determine necessary information, identify information owners, set-up instructions & templates, and establish communication flows, (ii) define methodologies to value assets, and (iii) determine related limits.\nPerform the periodic asset valuation for alternative assets and prepare valuation reports\nIndependently gathering data pertinent to the valuation through direct client interaction, checking quality of input data.\nAnalyze valuation reports prepared by external valuers\nPresent the results of your analysis in a clear and concise manner\nLiaising with auditors on valuation matters\nOversee NAV calculations\nEscalate valuation issues to senior valuation officer / Head of Valuation\nThe ideal background for this role:\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s of master’s degree in finance/economics or related field.\nExperience & Knowledge\nInterest in valuation of private equity, debt and real estate assets\nGood understanding of multiples assets classes and investment strategies\nExperience in Alternative Investment Funds is desirable \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel\nPreferably having a good knowledge of Luxembourg fund regulations, in particular AIFMD\nKnowledge of VBA and SQL is preferred\nSkills and Abilities\nCommunication skills with an ability to handle multiple business tasks\nFluency in English language, both written and spoken\nGood working knowledge of French, or any European language\nAbility to interact clearly and efficiently with external service providers\nStrong analytical, comprehension & problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills\nHighly organized & dynamic\nHigh level of accuracy & attention to detail\nUnique role requirements \nYou are in your final year before graduation and this is your mandatory end-of-studies internship\nYou are available for a 6-month internship\nRole Location/Hybrid Schedule\nThis role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working.
