In 2025, the Avion Flight Training Centre Mumbai - operated by Gen24 - will be opened.\nAt our facility, pilots can train on state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPTII) devices. Currently, our centre operates two Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulators from Avion and an A320 FNPTII for APS MCC training, built by Simnest. Over the coming years, we will expand to six to eight Full Flight Simulators, including additional Airbus A320s and Boeing 737 MAX devices, providing comprehensive training solutions for airlines and individual pilots.\nTasks\nThe Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, guests, students, or passengers. The role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, coordinating communication, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The Receptionist represents the organisation’s brand and maintains a smooth day-to-day administrative workflow.\nFront Desk & Customer Service\nGreet visitors, guests, and students professionally and courteously.\nProvide accurate information regarding services, schedules, programs, and facilities.\nMaintain a clean, organised, and professional front desk area at all times.\nManage visitor entry and maintain visitor logs.\nCommunication Management\nAnswer, screen, and route incoming calls to appropriate departments.\nHandle email and in-person inquiries promptly.\nProvide basic troubleshooting assistance for common queries.\nAdministrative Support\nSchedule appointments, meetings, or sessions.\nMaintain front office records, registers, and documentation.\nHandle incoming/outgoing mail and courier services.\nOperational Support\nCoordinate with Directors Office, departments such as HR, Operations, or Guest Relations.\nAssist in managing conference rooms, classrooms, or briefing rooms.\nGuide crew members or trainees to briefing rooms.\nShare training slot updates, or facility rules.\nSupport simulator/training centre guest coordination.\nRequirements\nEducation\nMinimum: Graduate in any discipline.\nPreferred: Diploma in Hospitality, Aviation Management, Front Office Operations, or relevant field.\nExperience\n1-3 years of experience in front office/customer service roles.\nExperience in airline, hospitality, or academic environments is an advantage.\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nFamiliarity with front desk or CRM software (optional).\nAbility to operate standard office equipment.\nSoft Skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProfessional grooming and etiquette.\nStrong interpersonal and customer service orientation.\nAbility to multitask and prioritise.\nProblem-solving and conflict-handling abilities.\nPunctual, reliable, and well-organised.\nKey Competencies\nCustomer Focus\nConfidentiality & Professionalism\nTeam Collaboration\nTime Management\nAdaptability across dynamic environments\nWorking Conditions\nFront-office based role.\nRequires extended periods of sitting/standing.\nShift timings may apply depending on requirements.\nBenefits\nBecome a part of Gen24\nWorking at Gen24 means having a challenging job in a successful and entrepreneurial environment where initiative and a high degree of freedom in acting are basic principles.
