development/training opportunities. \n Responsibilities\nCreate and execute test strategies and test plans to validate the quality and functionality of Genea's product implementations. \nWork closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery within defined timelines. \nDesign, write, review, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios. \nPerform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, smoke, and end-to-end testing. \nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium. \nPerform API testing and backend/server-side application validation using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. \nValidate database operations, data integrity, and backend workflows using SQL. \nIdentify, log, track, retest, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution. \nLeverage AI tools such as ChatGPT/Claude and GitHub Copilot for test case generation, automation scripting, test data creation, and improving QA efficiency. \nCollaborate with remote QA teams on daily testing updates, execution plans, and release activities. \nWork in an Agile environment, contributing to test design, automation, execution, regression, and end-to-end feature sign-off. \nDefine and follow QA processes, testing standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nMonitor test coverage, defect metrics, automation coverage, and testing progress. \nTake ownership of challenging testing scenarios and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nRequirements \n4-6 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. \nStrong expertise in manual testing, functional testing, and test design methodologies. \nHands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium for test automation. \nGood understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java. \nStrong experience in REST API testing and backend/server application validation. \nHands-on experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools. \nWorking knowledge of SQL and database validation. \nExperience testing enterprise applications, preferably SaaS/PaaS products. \nAbility to create and review test strategies, test plans, test cases, defect reports, and requirement traceability matrices. \nUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and defect management tools such as Jira. \nExposure to AI-powered testing tools and Generative AI for test automation and QA activities. \nUnderstanding of test governance, quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement. \nExcellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. \nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively with distributed teams. \n Nice to have skills: \nExperience with an iterative Agile methodology and use of tools like JIRA, Slack, and Wiki. \nExperience with automated testing and tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Selenium is an advantage. \nBasic knowledge of
