Team members help simplify work processes for the gRED organization by removing operational barriers, accelerating delivery, and enabling the implementation of effective practices. We do this by providing guidance and leadership in the design and implementation of simplified processes and automation mechanisms that improve efficiency and reduce organizational friction.\nThis internship position is located in South San Francisco, onsite.\nThe Opportunity\nThis role will support initiatives of varying scope focused on process and system changes, with support and guidance from senior members within Business Operations.\nProvide project management support for systems and process improvement projects.\nProvide recommendations for process improvements and assess their effectiveness.\nAssist in mapping and analyzing business processes to support system improvement initiatives.\nLead and support development and implementation of value-added business process improvement and AI-assisted automation solutions.\nProgram Highlights\n Intensive 6 months, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.\n Program start dates are in January 2027 (Spring).\nA stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.\nOwnership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.\nWork with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.\nWho You Are\nRequired Education\nYou meet one of the following criteria:\nMust be pursuing or have attained an Associate's Degree.\nMust be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).\nMust have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).\nMust be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).\nRequired Majors: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Biology, Biotechnology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics.\nRequired Skills\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for health life sciences, some laboratory experience, some exposure to project management/ process improvement, and some experience and/or interest in gaining skills for automation and practical implementation of AI/agentic tools in an operational context.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.\nComplements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.\nSome exposure/experience with vibecoding, App Script, Claude Code, Codex. \nRelocation benefits are not available for this job posting.\nThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45.00-$52.00 hourly. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
