Your contributions will be crucial in delivering novel medicines that meet the critical needs of patients through efficiency, innovation, and collaboration.\nThe position requires a strong interest in formulation development, analytical development, development of drug products, as well as a deep commitment to working as part of teams to deliver best-in-class therapies.\nThe Opportunity:\nThe successful candidate will work with dynamic and highly motivated teams to develop formulations for large molecules in our portfolio that treat unmet medical needs.\nYou are working in a formulation research and development lab and collaborating with department colleagues. This position requires effective participation in a team environment. \nYour responsibilities will include setup and execution of formulation studies, e.g. stability studies, compatibility studies, and sample analytics. You apply Engineering, Scientific, GMP theories, principles & techniques to solve problems.\nThis role requires knowledge of protein chemistry and analytical methods such as Spectrophotometry, pH, Chromatography (HPLC, UPLC) , Electrophoresis (CE, icIEF). Able to apply analytical skills and judgment in assessing the quality of assay data and assay performance. Additionally the role expects routine/advanced instrument troubleshooting, maintenance & calibration, and lab safety\nPresentation in teams will be part of this role, as well as at department meetings.\nWho You Are:\nYou hold a B.S., B.A. or M.S with a degree in physical science, engineering, life science or related disciplines. \nYou bring at least 0-3 years of work experience with relevant experience in healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry \nYou have a basic understanding of protein formulation or other related disciplines such as chemical and biochemical engineering, purification, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, microbiology, biology.\nYou are experienced in executing lab experiments, documentation, lab maintenance activities, and technical communication (Writing and Verbal)\nTeam player: Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills, team-oriented, dependable, with an ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. \nAble to work in a fast-paced environment: Must be self-motivated, able to multitask, and meet timelines efficiently and productively.\nOther Knowledge, Behaviors, Competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant\nKnowledge: General understanding of drug product process, engineering and device development is desirable.\nEnterprise mindset: Considers the impact of their efforts on the entire organization rather than any single team or function.\nEmpowered decision making: Embraces the single decision maker model and drives decision making down to the lowest appropriate level. \nInformed risk taking: Takes calculated, informed risks by leveraging a “minimum viable product” approach and challenging any work that does not add value.
