Utilizing innovative methods to identify patients who may benefit from treatment, we must take a highly strategic approach to patient access while assisting patients and their caregivers to navigate the healthcare system.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Launch Operations Manager is responsible for creating the operating discipline that enables CE to prepare for and execute launches with clarity, consistency, and speed. This role owns integrated launch planning, readiness assessment, milestone management, risk escalation, and post-launch review across CE. The manager partners with launch teams, CE leaders, Regions, field partners, and enterprise functions to ensure launch commitments are visible, dependencies are managed, decisions are made at the right time, and teams are prepared to execute against shared launch priorities.\nSCOPE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nIntegrated Launch Planning & Readiness\nLead integrated CE launch planning from early readiness through launch and post-launch stabilization.\nEstablish clear launch workplans with owners, milestones, dependencies, measures, and decision points.\nMaintain an integrated launch calendar and readiness view across CE priorities.\nTranslate enterprise launch strategy into clear operational implications and commitments for CE teams.\nEnsure launch planning connects field, portfolio, RBO, learning, data, and other enabling workstreams.\nLaunch Governance & Risk Management\nEstablish and manage launch governance, readiness reviews, decision cadence, and escalation pathways.\nProactively identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and capacity constraints that could affect launch readiness.\nDrive timely resolution of cross-functional issues and elevate decisions that require senior leadership attention.\nEnsure launch status, risks, and decisions are documented and transparent to relevant stakeholders.\nApply common readiness standards while tailoring execution to the needs of each launch.\nCross-Functional Orchestration\nCoordinate across CE, Regions, field partners, RBO teams, CPO, DDA, L&SD, Field Medical, GPAA, and other launch partners as needed.\nCreate clarity on roles, handoffs, dependencies, and shared commitments across workstreams.\nConnect launch teams to the appropriate enterprise capabilities and operational support required for execution.\nEnsure field perspectives and execution realities are reflected in launch planning and readiness decisions.\nReduce duplication and fragmented planning by creating one integrated operational view of CE launch work.\nLaunch Performance & Learning\nEstablish launch measures and operating reviews that provide visibility to progress and execution quality.\nLead post-launch reviews to capture lessons, identify gaps, and improve future launch readiness.\nSynthesize launch performance signals, field insights, and operational feedback into actionable recommendations.\nTrack follow-through on post-launch actions and improvement commitments.\nBuild reusable launch playbooks, templates, and standards based on lessons from execution.\nTeam Leadership & Capability\nLead, coach, and develop Enterprise Operations Leads assigned to launch work.\nSet clear expectations for launch planning, governance, communication, and escalation quality.\nAllocate team capacity across launches based on business priority, timing, and complexity.\nCreate development opportunities that build strong enterprise operators and launch leaders.\nContribute to common Enterprise Operations standards, talent practices, translate strategy into integrated execution plans\nStrong judgment on what requires escalation versus team-level resolution\nHighly effective cross-functional influencer without formal authority\nStrong communication and executive synthesis capabilities\nComfortable operating at speed while maintaining discipline and quality\nSkilled at simplifying complex work into clear milestones and decisions\nStrong business acumen and understanding of field execution\nCollaborative people leader and developer of talent\nGrowth mindset with a focus on learning and continuous improvement\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree required\n8-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consulting, commercial, launch, program management, and/or operations experience including leading, coaching or mentoring others strongly preferred\nDemonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional launches or large programs\nExperience building integrated plans, governance, readiness assessments, and risk management processes\nStrong project/program management and stakeholder leadership capabilities\nDemonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and operate in a matrixed environment\nStrong communication, executive presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nAbility and willingness to travel as required for internal and external business meetings\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nGraduate-level degree (e.g., MBA or advanced life sciences degree)\nPrior commercial launch, field operations, or launch excellence experience\nExperience with large-scale field organizations and enterprise readiness planning\nLocation: This position can be based in SSF or Remote. Relocation benefits are not available.\nThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of SSF CA is $142,200 - $264,200 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
