The successful candidate will lead projects that advance our understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms of T cell biology, with a main emphasis on harnessing immunoregulatorymechanisms for reestablishing immune and tissue homeostasis under inflammatory conditions.\nThe Opportunity\nLead innovative research projects focused on understanding cellular and molecular mechanisms of T cell biology and immunoregulatory pathways.\n\nDrive pipeline programs from discovery toward early clinical development by generating robust proof-of-concept data.\n\nDesign and execute experiments using state-of-the-art technologies, including primary cell isolation, multi-dimensional flow cytometry, and complex disease models.\n\nExplore novel biological pathways to identify and validate new therapeutic targets for inflammatory diseases.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with team members across human genetics, biomarker discovery, and early clinical development.\n\nPresent research findings regularly at intra- and inter-departmental meetings, fostering an open and inquisitive scientific culture.\n\nWho You Are\nYou hold a PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with a strong track record of research achievement in the form of high-quality publications\n\nYou possess hands-on expertise in cellular and molecular immunology techniques, including primary cell isolation, multi-dimensional flow cytometry, in vitro immunological assays, and in vivo animal models.\n\nYou have experience independently designing, executing, and interpreting complex scientific experiments.\n\nYou bring strong communication and collaborative skills, thriving in an open, team-oriented laboratory environment.\n\nYou are curious, open-minded, and passionate about advancing science to uncover novel biological mechanisms.\n\nPreferred\nExperience in T cell biology and/or mucosal immunology.\n\nExperience with analysis of data from genomic sequencing, scRNA-seq, TCR-seq, CITE-seq or spatial transcriptomics is preferred.\n\nExperience in culturing 2D and 3D murine or human organoids or other complex in vitrosystems is a plus.\n\nTogether, we’ll advance along the whole patient journey with the aspiration to prevent, stop and cure diseases.\nRelocation can be offered for this position\nThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $103,400 - $192,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
