The Associate Engineer is responsible for providing support to the Engineering lab regarding test equipment, test setup, facility needs, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and Data Acquisition under limited supervision. Partnering with Engineering and other Lab functions to determine specific test equipment and resource needs to support test execution. Should be able to communicate effectively, document work, create procedures, design, and build test fixtures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma. 15 Years relevant work experience, or 12 years of relevant experience and an Associate Degree in related field. Proficiency in proper use and application of various hand and power tools. Proficiency in use of basic and advanced electrical and mechanical test equipment. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in related field.
