Join the Eagle team and support the growth and transition into our fabrication center of excellence.\nThe Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.\nEssential Duties:\nCreate and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment. \nMaintains and/or changes the floor routings and BOMs required for processing the parts through the sheet metal department. \nResolve programming issues. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma \nMust be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment \nPreferred Qualifications:\nTechnical School/Associate Degree \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints \nAbility to interact effectively with both production and engineering employees \nProficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS) \nDemonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE \nProficient in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code \nDemonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC) \nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
