This role manages a HR team that supports regional or functional business groups and provides guidance on employee relations, leadership development, talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning.\nMajor Responsibilities\nStrategic Leadership & Business Partnership\nLeads HR business partners supporting designed functions, locations, or plants\n\nProvides strategic HR consultation to leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning\n\nPartners with business leadership to improve engagement, retention and productivity\n\nTalent Management & Leadership Development\nDevelops and coaches leadership teams to strengthen managerial capability\n\nLeads or supports major HR initiatives including compensation cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning\n\nEmployee & Labor Relations\nEnsures HR policy compliance and risk mitigations\n\nUnion sites - Manages labor relations, contract administration, grievance processes, and union partnership activities\n\nMergers, Acquisitions & Organizational Integration\nSupports M&A activities, including onboarding, culture integration, and organizational alignment\n\nLeadership\nSelects, trains, coaches and develops staff, setting clear expectations to inspire, motivate, and engage the team\n\nManages performance, recognizes achievement, provides feedback, and administers progressive discipline when necessary\n\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducation\nBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related discipline, or equivalent work experience\n\nWork Experience\n8 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nStrong working knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and talent processes\n\nUnderstanding of compensation cycles, performance management, and talent reviews\n\nWorking knowledge of HRIS systems\n\nKnowledge of change management practices at team or functional level\n\nUnderstanding of compliance, employment law, and policy interpretation\n\nStrong consultation skills with leaders\n\nSkilled in employee relations investigations and resolution\n\nAbility to coach leaders on performance, engagement, and team development\n\nStrong communication and facilitation skills\n\nSkilled in applying analytics to site- or function-level workforce trends\n\nProcess management and HR program execution\n\nStrong conflict resolution and mediation skills\n\nCross-functional collaboration\n\nPreferred Job Requirements\nEducation\nMaster’s degree in Human Resources, MBA, or related discipline\n\nCertification / License\nSPHR or SHRM-SCP\n\nWork Experience\nExperience supporting manufacturing operations\n\nExposure to union environments\n\nMergers and acquisitions experience, particularly integration support\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nWorking knowledge of HR systems and AI-enhanced HR tools\n\nKnowledge of change management practices at team or functional level\n\nProject management skills\n\nUnderstanding of compliance, employment law, and policy interpretation\n\nDemonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled HR tools -
