a shared commitment to be there for others when it matters most.\nFor more than 65 years, we've turned big ideas into solutions that help protect homes, strengthen businesses and build a more resilient, efficient, sustainable energy future.\nReady to Power a Smarter World with us?\nABOUT THE ROLE\nAs an Executive Recruiter, you’ll lead executive talent acquisition for Vice President and above roles across Generac, partnering with senior leaders and HR stakeholders to identify, assess and secure critical leadership talent.\nYou’ll join the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, working closely with executive leaders, HR Business Partners and Compensation to develop tailored search strategies, provide market intelligence and build executive talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term succession planning.\nThis role is an opportunity to influence executive hiring at the highest levels of the organization while bringing deep expertise in executive search, talent markets and public company executive compensation to complex and highly confidential searches.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead full-cycle recruitment for Vice President and above positions across the enterprise, with occasional Director-level searches based on business needs and requisition volume.\nPartner with executive leaders and HR Business Partners to understand leadership requirements, organizational needs and the talent profile needed for success.\nDevelop and execute customized executive search strategies for critical leadership positions, including proactive sourcing, networking and engagement of passive executive talent.\nBuild and maintain robust executive talent pipelines through talent mapping, market research and ongoing relationship development.\nConduct executive candidate assessments, interviews and succession benchmarking, providing hiring leaders with informed perspectives on talent and the external market.\nProvide talent market insights, organizational mapping and competitive intelligence to support executive hiring decisions.\nPartner with Compensation and HR leadership to develop competitive executive offers and support negotiations involving executive compensation and equity programs.\nProvide expertise on executive compensation components, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentive plans, restricted stock units, performance-based equity awards, sign-on equity, equity buyout arrangements and retention awards.\nManage highly confidential executive searches and candidate information with discretion while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies and recruiting practices.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n8+ years of progressive recruiting experience.\n5+ years of executive recruiting experience focused on Vice President-level and above positions.\nDemonstrated success recruiting executive talent in a corporate or executive search firm environment.\nDeep expertise in executive search, talent identification and executive candidate assessment.\nStrong understanding of public company executive compensation and equity programs, including long-term incentives and equity-based compensation.\nStrong executive presence, business acumen and organizational awareness, with the ability to build credibility and influence with senior leaders.\nStrong negotiation, closing, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion.\nINTERVIEW PROCESS\nApplication Review: We receive hundreds of applications for some roles.
