This role manages finance-related workflow and resources to support mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments, and other transactions.\nThe Finance Manager provides timely, accurate, and compliant financial support while aligning with public company reporting, internal controls, and governance requirements. This role enables effective decision-making, transaction execution, and post-close integration.\nMajor Responsibilities\nAct as the primary finance relationship for Corporate Development, coordinating efforts across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Business Group Finance.\n\nManage and prioritize finance workloads supporting M&A, divestitures, and strategic investments in line with deal timelines.\n\nIdentify and address accounting, reporting, and internal control implications during due diligence and deal structuring.\n\nPartner with Treasury on transaction financing, liquidity planning, cash flow impacts, and capital structure considerations.\n\nCoordinate inputs from Tax, Legal, Internal Audit, and external advisors to support transaction execution and compliance.\n\nEnsure compliance with public company accounting and reporting requirements, including SOX internal controls, SEC reporting considerations, and adherence to internal accounting policies and governance standards.\n\nCoordinate and support physical inventory counts for acquired entities and ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of inventory balances post-close.\n\nAssist with transition service agreements from an accounting and reporting perspective, including tracking and supporting transition activities, and ensuring accurate accounting during the transition period.\n\nOversee post-close accounting activities, including measurement period adjustments, GL mapping, net working capital audits, and incorporation into monthly close and financial reporting processes.\n\nSupport earn-out processes by assisting with inputs, tracking metrics, and preparation of required reporting, while maintaining coordination with corporate accounting teams responsible for final calculations.\n\nManage acquisition-related escrows and holdbacks, including tracking release deadlines, monitoring claims activity, reconciling related accounts, and ensuring timely accounting and reporting of balances.\n\nIntegrate acquired entities into the Company’s internal control environment. Coordinate with Internal Audit on SOX readiness and support remediation of controls gaps.\n\nDrive process improvements and standardization to enhance efficiency and collaboration between Finance and Corporate Development.\n\nSupport post-transaction performance monitoring and financial analysis.\n\nThis position requires up to 20% travel (domestic and international).\n\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.\n\nCertification / License\nCPA or similar certification.\n\nWork Experience\n5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nKnowledge of public company reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.\n\nAbility to manage cross-functional workflows and multiple stakeholders.\n\nStrong financial analysis, modeling, communication, and project management skills.\n\nPreferred Job Requirements\nEducation\nMBA or other advanced degree.\n\nCertification / License\nCFA or similar certification.\n\nWork Experience\nPublic company experience\n\nBackground in investment banking, transaction advisory, or corporate development.\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nExperience supporting M&A and corporate development transactions.\n\nExperience with post-merger integration.\n\nAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\n\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
