You are a dedicated finance professional with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, ready to join a mature and growing organization. This role will have you support all aspects of the FP&A function from budgeting and forecasting to variance analysis and cost management, ensuring our financial success and aiding in decision-making processes.\nThis role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work required on Wednesdays and Thursdays to support collaboration, and flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\nSupport the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and ensure timely delivery to all ecobee management and corporate parent stakeholder groups\nPrepare analytical review over the income statement, balance sheet, and business KPIs as compared to previous month, budget, forecast and prior period\nContribute to the analysis and preparation of Product and Channel P&Ls for quarterly Management Business Reviews (MBRs)\nMonitor and report on the company’s financial performance against management KPIs\nDevelop reports and support the creation of dashboards in the company’s financial planning and analysis platform (Workday Adaptive Planning), and assist in user training to enhance stakeholder engagement\nUpdate and maintain the data and models in the company’s FP&A platform to ensure timely and accurate reporting\nHelp to automate and streamline existing monthly, quarterly, and annual processes by leveraging AI tools\nCollaborate with other departments to bring new tools, data, and approaches that sharpen the recommendations we provide across the company\nAssist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and cross-functional requests\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Table:\n3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role at a mid-size private or public company\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field\nExperience within a manufacturing or consumer electronics company considered a strong asset\nExperience with cloud-based ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms\nProficiency with cube-based FP&A platforms such as Adaptive Planning (or Prophix, Vena, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, etc.)\nUnderstanding of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes in the context of data models maintained within an FP&A platform is preferred\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a SharePoint environment\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, including meeting public company reporting timelines\nStrong financial modelling skills and ability to translate numerous data points into actionable and easy to understand insights for business partners\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nKnowledge or exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is an added benefit\nPlease note that the successful candidate will be required to complete a background and credit check\nJust so you know: The hired candidate will be required to complete a background check\nWhat happens after you apply:\nApplication review. The salary range for this role based in Toronto, ON is $74,900 - $93,600 CAD. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.
