Follows defined procedures and practices.\n\nLearning the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline. Developing the business knowledge required of the full job.\n\nSafely and proficiently perform maintenance related activities of equipment, buildings and grounds.\n\nAssists with Diagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns.\n\nSuggest and implement improvements of existing equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.\n\nAssist in designing, fabricating, and welding of mechanical structures, guards and special equipment as required. Attend training to learn techniques for maintenance of new and existing equipment.\n\nPerform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function\n\nProvides technical support to project managers and engineers on projects.\n\nAssists with rigging, lifting and relocating a variety of complex, heavy machines, equipment and components\n\nWork is supervised daily or weekly with assignments that encompass a well-defined set of tasks. Follows established procedures, processes, or policies.\n\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nTester I\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\n0-2 years of experience\n\nTester II\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nAssociates Degree, or Certification with 2-6 years' experience, or its equivalent.\n\nTester III\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nAssociates Degree, or Certification with 2-6 years' experience, or its equivalent.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nTester I & II\nAbility to effectively communicate\n\nContributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.\n\nAbility to identify problems\n\nBasic PC knowledge\n\nBasic knowledge of product testing and generator assembly.\n\nAbility to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.\n\nAbility to perform basic mechanical assembly skills\n\nAbility to effectively work in a team environment.\n\nModels positive and professional work ethics.\n\nUses test procedures, test programs and written instructions to test product and / or subassemblies\n\nAbility to effectively communicate\n\nContributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.\n\nTester III\nDemonstrated experience in root cause problem solving (5 Why, 8D, PDCA, etc.)\n\nDemonstrated experience effectively training other employees to work instructions/standard work\n\nPrevious experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics)\n\nOther Duties as assigned and the following:\nEnsure proper preventative maintenance in place for test equipment;
