(Flexibility, Speed & Responsiveness)\n\nEnsure product, material and information streams flow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.\n\nContribute to creation of innovative ideas to improve business results.\n\nDeploy standard Generac tools, methodologies, standards, practicesand processes.\n\nImplementobjectivesto include continuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction and fulfillment needs.\n\nWork closely with shop floor personnelto promote ongoing Continuous Improvement of manufacturing methods, systemsand controls.\n\nResponsible for area layouts, process definition, and equipment justification, selection, and implementation\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’sDegree in Engineering or Industrial Technology\n\n1-3 years related experience in the Engineering function within a similar working environment.\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\nProficiencyinCAD (AutoCAD, Solid Worksand/or ProE);\n\nExcellent organizational, writtenand oral communication skills;\n\nKnowledge of lean principles and process improvements;\n\nDiverse skills and experience leading projects;\n\nExperience collaborating cross-functionallyto achieve desired results;\n\nExperienceoperatingin high mix, low volume and high volume, low mix production environments;\n\nDemonstrated skills in problem solving andconflict resolution;\n\nProven track recordof successfully managing shifting deadlines and prioritiesin a fast pacedenvironment.\n\nPreferredQualifications:\n1 - 3 years Industrial Engineering experience.\n\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
