product adoption through Generac’s existing distribution network to supportend-market demand.\nTerritory Coverage: Northeastern United States\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIdentify, engage, and convert solar, storage, and generatorinstallation companies into Generac ecosystem customers\nPlan and implement sales strategies to maximize share and margin;effectively differentiate Generac products in competitive sales environments\nExpandthecustomer base byidentifyingnew partners and developing new customer opportunities\nBuild andmaintainarobustpipeline of new key account opportunities; role is80% new account development and 20% account management\nBuild strong relationships with established key accountsandinternal support teams tofosterlong-term businessgrowth\nMaintainaccuratesales records, CRM entries, and activity updates to support forecasting and performance tracking\nCollaboratewith sales and business leadership to developand execute business plans aligned with key account grown initiatives\nProvide market feedback and competitive intelligence tosales and business leadership \nMaintainconsistent follow-up on opportunities to drivetimelyand effective closes\nCommunicateeffectivelywith Generacsales team members to ensurea coordinated approach to account acquisition and support\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent experience\n\n4 years of solar industry experience\n\nAbility to travel 30-60% of the time\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in residential energy storage\n\nExperience in business-to-business sales\n\nExperience selling to c-suite executives and key decision makers at large corporations\n\nWorking knowledge of two-step distribution model\n\nExperience working with RFP purchasing processes: proven ability to navigate from bid to award to an effective close\n\nExperience identifying leading market indicators and major prospects
