Components may be standardized or customized as to design and function.\nResponsibilities:\nWelder I\nComply with the company/site safety rules.\n\nPerform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.\n\nFlex across different products and areas to support business needs.\n\nProvide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.\n\nFollow established procedures, processes, or policies.\n\nInterpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.\n\nAssist with robotic welder.\n\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nWelder II\nAll Welder I responsibilities.\n\nIntermediate MIG (GMAW)\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues efficiently.\n\nProficient in operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools.\n\nWelder III\nAll Welder I & II responsibilities\n\nUnderstanding of aluminum alloys, their properties, and how they react to different welding processes.\n\nProficient in various aluminum welding processes, such as TIG (GTAW).\n\nWeld complex components with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.\n\nOperate robotic welder.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or Certification.\n\nWelder I\nInternal written and physical weld test.\n\nAn understanding of welding fundamentals.\n\nBasic welding experience and/or training.\n\nBasic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.\n\nAbility to follow direction and work in a team environment.\n\nWelder II\n1 year of experience in a production welding environment and successful completion of internal weld test.\n\nWorking towards apprenticeship or certification\n\nManufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience.\n\nBasic knowledge of Mig and Tig Welding Equipment.\n\nCrane Certification.\n\nWelder III\n2 years of experience in a production welding environment and successful completion of internal weld test.\n\nExperience in root cause problem-solving (5 Why, 8D, PDCA, etc.)\n\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
