Paint Hangers safely and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line. The Paint Hangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result being a ready to use part or assembly.\nMajor Responsibilities\nLoading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line\nProcess each part by hanging/racking to paint application\nInspect quality of parts before and after finishing process\nPerform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment, work habits and performing appropriatehousekeeping duties)\nConstantly work in a constantly high heat environment\nInspect quality of parts before and after finishing process\nExchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off\nMaintain proper counts\nReport all scrap\nPerform stock handling duties as required\nMaintain a clean work environment \nMinimum Job Requirements\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n0-2 years of experience\nDetail oriented and organized\nAdditional Qualifications:\nAbility to effectively communicate\nAbility to understand and execute basic standard procedures\nAbility to perform basic reading and writing skills\nAbility to effectively work in a team environment\nAbility to troubleshoot and problem solve Ability to communicate and work well with others\nA positive attitude, assertive, dependable, and energetic\nA strong focus on quality of work\nPreferred Job Requirements\nPrevious experiencewith powder paint systems\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
